Those early days of what would end up being a three-week hospital stay were full of pain for my son and uncertainty for all of us. Kylani came in and brought calmness to the storm. Not only was she very capable, but she was also compassionate. After discovering that our son liked lights of every description, she found several pen lights and would encourage him with one each time he would have a diagnostic procedure. The care given by Kylani was exceptional and beyond what was expected. The kindness shown even by simply just coming by his room to say hi when he wasn’t her assigned patient was much appreciated.
