Kyle Bedard, RN

Kyle attended to a critically ill patient for multiple hours, performing invaluable services including but not limited to starting two IV lines in the patient who was a very difficult stick. He assisted with the administration of critical medication infusions and provided essential ICU-level care in a very conscientious manner, for nearly six hours when transportation to UVMMC was unavailable and also went on the transport with me, the respiratory therapist, and the paramedic forming the critical care team. His performance was most commendable and he proved himself an extremely valuable team member in the care of one of the sickest patients I have seen in a while. His excellent performance was not an exception, but rather the way he functions in the ED every time that I have worked with him.
