Kyle was a primary nurse for a very long-term patient, here for 536 days. While this patient had great care and many good advocates, Kyle provided a consistency that was unmatched. He handled emergent situations, medication changes, with great attention to detail. He performed basic grooming and care with such thoroughness and kindness. He consistently went above and beyond to advocate when the family couldn't be here. Kyle declined any respite from this complex patient; instead, he asked to care for him most shifts, caring for him as one might expect a family member to do.
