I can’t begin to explain the gratitude I have for Kyle Holder. If it weren’t for him, my dad probably would not still be here with us. My dad saw Kyle while having an EEG done on his brain. My dad had two attacks (seizures) while he was hooked up. It was because of Kyle that we found out that it was my dad’s heart and not his brain. He couldn’t stress how important it was to us for my dad to be seen by a heart doctor! He recommended that we take my dad to the emergency room right away. We took him on Friday, and he had to get a pacemaker by Tuesday. This has been very hard for my dad because he has never been admitted to the hospital. Kyle went out of his way to come to the hospital to check on my dad. He literally was only coming to see how he was doing. He didn’t know what was going on at all. When he got here, he first asked if anyone had talked to us about a pacemaker. But he was already scheduled to get the surgery that day. If it wasn’t for Kyle telling us how urgent it was for my dad to go to the hospital, my dad may not have made it.
Kyle saved my dad’s life. I couldn’t imagine life without my dad, so not only did Kyle save my dad, but he saved me because I wouldn’t be able to live without him. Kyle showed he cared by going out of his way to check on my dad when he didn’t have to. Thanks, Kyle—you are literally a lifesaver.
