I’m sure there isn’t anything else that I could say about Kyle that hasn’t already been said by hundreds of people who have had any contact professionally or personally with him! I first met him after my second surgery that turned out to be nothing even close to what the outcome should have been, needless to say I was very upset, angry, and depressed at that had happened! Kyle came in to give me instructions on care. It certainly wasn’t the ideal situation to be meeting anyone for the first time especially about something so unexpected, unwanted, and personal! But there was Kyle, all positive and smiles from ear to ear. I could sense his wonderful personality even before he spoke a single word. I honestly believe if it had been anyone else standing in front of me that was going to give the instructions, he was about to I would have told them to go to h*** and get out! I listened intently because he was so sincere and caring about what he was informing me of, and I could tell that he was truly trying to help me understand everything I needed to know about the situation that I was in and how to deal with it. By the end of the first meeting, I knew that he was a very kind, personable, and super-intelligent individual with whom I hoped I would have more contact before I left the hospital. It turned out that I would have more meetings with him where I got to know him even better and ended up considering him a close friend! It was a pleasant surprise that when I went to have my wound assessment, he was also a part of that process. He stopped in to see me when I had come into the hospital to have my medi-vac sponge changed. We laughed about how lucky he was to have stopped in to say “hi” at the perfect time! I feel truly blessed to have gotten to meet and become close to such a wonderful and caring professional! The world needs more just like him, and I hope that you appreciate him as much as I still do!
