Kyle is always choosing to be encouraging and has a smile on his face.
Kyle is forever a bright spot in my day.
He is always choosing to be encouraging and has a smile on his face. Whether you are a housekeeper, or a CEO, Kyle will call out your name and ask you how you are doing. He is very engaging with his patients too. His quirky, sometimes self-deprecating sense of humor helps to keep things light which lets patients and their family members into an inside joke. Many patients have told me that Kyle is a jewel, but then they will laugh and say, “But don’t tell him, we don’t want it going to his head”.
I think giving our patients something to laugh about is an enormous gift. Kyle is always saying to staff members, “Hey, why don’t you let me help you with that.” Before you turn around there Kyle is there helping. Our pastor describes him as steady. He does not seek attention or credit for what he does. He is truly a team player. Our hospice referral nurse said the only time he gets rattled is when someone gives him a compliment. Kyle is a great preceptor of staff. When he precepts a new staff member they are always ready to work independently with confidence.
