Kylee Davis, RN
Kylee consistently exemplifies the compassion, teamwork, and excellence that nursing is all about. No matter how busy or chaotic the shift is, Kylee always remains calm and collected with a smile on her face. Her patients always receive excellent care from her, and it always makes her coworkers feel supported.
One recent example perfectly captures who Kylee is as a nurse. At the end of an especially hectic shift, I was trying to wrap up numerous tasks while still providing the best possible care to my patients. Without hesitation, Kylee stepped in and offered to give a tap-water enema to one of my patients (the provider ordered it at 1800 and wanted it done ASAP). Any other nurse can tell you this is one of the least desirable tasks to perform. She was stuck in that room for at least 30 minutes but had no complaints at all.
Her willingness to help allowed me to complete the rest of my responsibilities in a safe and timely manner. What stands out most about Kylee is that this was not an isolated act of kindness. She is consistently willing to help without ever seeking praise or recognition. She quietly steps in when needed.
She is an invaluable member of our team and incredibly deserving of a Daisy award!
