My father ended up being transferred downtown for specialized care. Things were extremely stressful because of the no visitor policy and the fact my father was feeling sick and could not update us. When he arrived downtown, Kylee Johnson was assigned as his nurse and this entire situation changed immediately.
Kylee got my mom's contact information from him and she let us know he arrived safely, was stable, and reassured us she would take great care of him. She kept us updated frequently and just when we started to worry, Kylee would reach out to us to let us know he was resting comfortably. She even set up a time for my mom to bring him some of his personal items and came all the way out to the parking lot to get them.
Without Kylee, I don't know how we would have gotten through his hospital stay. She went out of her way to provide excellent patient care, as well as give my mom and I complete play-by-play updates. She was kind, attentive, and had a wonderful bedside manner. Kylee not only cared for her patient but cared for his family. She was a gift from God in such a stressful situation!
