Kyleigh M Bothwell, RN

My husband was a patient in this unit. He is blind and, at the times, was very immobile. He has only been blind for four years, and this was his first time in the hospital with no sight. I can not say enough about Kyleigh and her patience, warmth, and ability to connect with her patient. She made my husband feel so comfortable and secure, in addition to the way she conveyed a level of confidence in her craft. She is the full package: excellent nursing skills, knowledgeable, personable, and empathetic. Since this was a new experience for my husband, I stayed in the room with him round the clock. Kyleigh also treated me wonderfully. She recognized what a difficult situation this was and made every effort to make me comfortable. The only complaint we had was that we could not take her home with us. She would make these two senior citizens smile every day. Thank you, Kyleigh!

There wasn’t one specific situation where Kyleigh stood out because she was outstanding from beginning to end. You can tell Kyleigh truly loves being a nurse and helping and serving others. Our mother passed while in the hospital, and Kyleigh’s care and comfort helped us through such a sad and difficult time. She is truly an amazing nurse!
