My son was in the CICU for heart failure. He really wanted bubbles, but the bubbles the hospital had did not work. Bubbles were the only motivation my six-year-old son had to get him out of bed to heal his lungs. Kyler was off shift over the weekend, but when he returned he brought my son a ten-pack of giant bubble wands he purchased himself. It changed my son’s whole hospital stay and I will never forget it. These are the moments that matter especially to kids who live their whole lives in and out of hospitals.
