I was a first time surrogate and delivering in the hospital for the first time as well. The baby's mother was a little overwhelming. Kylie remembered that I was the patient and kept me in the forefront of her care. When we decided I needed a c-section, I finally gave in and cried to her in the OR, away from my mother. I appreciated the fact that she told me I could cry in front of her and she comforted me and held me while I was getting my spinal. I still become tearful when I remember back to that day. I was truly honored to be her patient. Her compassion and strong will kept me feeling safe and comfortable during the whole emotional ordeal. Renown and L&D is lucky to have her. Thank you Kylie.
