This grumpy, fearful elderly man found himself full of fright and pain. She was very attentive to everyone and at the same time very aware of most everyone’s needs, not just wants. I was there for a fairly serious heart condition. Full of fear and very confusing thoughts, not being able to explain my enemy filled me with fear and frustration. On the day we met, my nurse was steadfast and strong in her mission. I realized my nurse took her role as caregiver very seriously, and it showed a big change from what I’ve been used to seeing in the new generation of youth. She took the time to explain my tests and treatment plan that she was following for my care. I have never found anyone more dedicated to their job, and this lady needs to be acknowledged.
