Kylie received six different nominations, from six different families! This narrative contains all six stories.
My son-in-law is in 6F-ICU with devastating injuries. He and my daughter have two very young children. It is tragic on so many levels. Kylie has shown great clinical proficiency, empathy, and communication skills that made me grateful every morning she has been his nurse. As a nurse myself, I know what a nurse should be. Kylie is all of that and she represents what is so great about nursing.

My dad is in the 6F-ICU. During his treatment Kylie not only helped my dad and our family, she has been like a ray of sunlight. I could literally see my mom relax when Kylie would walk in to talk with her. Kylie also made it a point to stop in on her way out at night, to let us know the name of the next nurse to be caring for my dad. We love her.
Kylie has an incredible demeanor; she is kind, caring, compassionate and most importantly she always has a smile on her face. These are such important qualities for families of patients in the Neuro-Trauma ICU that are always looking for a glimmer of positive reinforcement.

Kylie took care of my father in the 6F-ICU. She was very compassionate towards him and all of us. She is definitely one of the friendliest nurses we've ever had take care of our father. Our family believes she deserves this DAISY Award and many other awards too!

My dad was admitted with traumatic injuries after a fall; Kylie is one of several very wonderful nurses that has been taking care of him. She has such a kind and compassionate heart. Kylie makes you feel as if you are her family. She is very knowledgeable and just makes such a difficult time easier simply by being herself. Kylie is an amazing nurse who has and will continue to bless everyone she touches.

Upon meeting Kylie, she was calming, reassuring, and very professional. I felt comforted and at peace with her skill and training to take care of my husband. After managing his care for several days, her inner beauty glowed. She prayed and she ministered to our family all while taking excellent nursing care of Doug. Mercy has a true DAISY nurse in Kylie. You also have two professionals in one: She is an excellent chaplain! We plan to stay in touch with this wonderful and beautiful lady.
