When I came on the floor, I had emergency hernia surgery, and my blood sugar was super high. There was so much information being thrown my way. Thank you for taking the time to look up info for me. Thanks for making me feel like your only patient. Thanks for being on top of my pain meds. Thanks for pushing yourself to be and do better when I thought you were already doing enough! I always felt that things would be okay when you were my nurse on shift. You made me feel safe, seen, and heard, and like anything I needed was an honor for you to help with.
