Kyrsten brought the sunshine into my room every day. Her beautiful smile lifted my spirit instantly. She would make sure I had whatever I needed, whether it be water or pain pills. When she came in for work, she always checked on me. I really felt like I was in good hands. It gave me a huge amount of comfort. With the disease I have been suffering for 25 months, I started getting frustrated and having moments of crying. When I say that, Kyrsten saved me many times through the emotional jags. She has the heart of an angel. Her smile and the kindness she displayed every day are not found in so many nursing staff. I had been in UPMC four times in a couple of months, and Kyrsten has outshined them all. I thank her for the wonderful care and the encouraging words to keep on fighting and get well.
