I would like to recognize Kyung Kim for her dedication and loyalty to Olympia throughout the years, and most importantly for her unwavering support of all the nurses and colleagues especially during the COVID pandemic and recent staffing shortage in the past several weeks. Kyung is always willing to help us even on her days-off, despite having worked many consecutive shifts. Her loyalty to our hospital and unit is much appreciated and should be rewarded.
I love working with Kyung. She provides a positive leadership that supports her team of nurses and always encourages independent critical thinking, which especially provides the new nurses with a boost of confidence in our critical care unit. Kyung's presence brings an unexplained comfort in such a stressful environment as an ICU setting. I appreciate her positivity and caring manner to all of us nurses, which always boosts the morale of our team. I admire the respect Kyung has from all our physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
