I was 38 weeks pregnant and on my way to the hospital with contractions when my husband and I got stuck in traffic on 33S during a snowstorm. The ambulance was called as traffic was going to be backed up for hours and the ambulance brought me to LVH-Pocono. I have never been to LVH-Pocono nor are any of my doctors in this network. Sitting terrified and on the brink of having my 3rd child, I was provided comfort and reassurance by nurses Vickie and Belinda, Midwife Shannon, Dr. Zhang, and Nursery nurse Margaret. These ladies brought me through a stressful time feeling relaxed and confident in their care. I could not have delivered my son without them.

The following nurses made the birth of my daughter exceptionally special: prebirth Julie, Jennifer, Janelle, Tracy, Jennifer (nurse for the baby), (post birth) Emily, Evee, Mrs. Laverne, and Nancy. All these ladies spent time listening, talking to me, and empathizing with the birth of my daughter. I felt genuinely listened to, considered, and cared for. I did not feel as though any of them were just trying to “get through their shift”. They were all very kind and did excellent jobs at caring for me and for my baby. If everyone had nurses and a birth experience like this, they would want to have a ton of kids.

I came in with high blood pressure and ended up having an emergency c-section. The whole thing was about 24 hours long. The whole time the whole Labor and Delivery staff was just so amazing from just checking on me and my baby all the time to just sitting with me and telling me everything will be ok to their quick action to save my baby and even after days have passed, coming to check on you afterward.

Everyone is amazing, very helpful, and kind! I would recommend having all babies here. Everyone who works in these units is a shining star. Thank you for everything.

Victoria was an angel during my c-section delivery. She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease before, during, and after the procedure. Nancy and Nadine were INCREDIBLE as well! They helped us with all our questions and provided valuable resources for us first time parents. Thank you!

Dr. Reynolds Team - Excellent care from when we arrived to when we left across the board. Everyone was nice, calm, knowledgeable, and patient. Mother-Baby unit was constantly checking on us throughout the stay and spent a significant amount of time teaching us how to change diapers, clean the baby, swaddle, and most importantly help with breast feeding. I cannot imagine having a baby delivered anywhere else. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for such an amazing experience in the care of the first-born child.

All the nurses were kind, attentive, and understanding. Although, this was my 3rd child a lot of things have changed over the years. The team took time explaining everything to me. It was also my first time being induced with a high-risk pregnancy. The labor and delivery nurses really helped ease my mind and helped me through the process. Aifer, Peggy, Olivia, Colleen, and the whole team were great. And I appreciate all of them. In the mother-baby unit, Margaret and Michelle were very helpful and attentive to both mine and my baby’s needs. I am grateful and appreciative of all their hard work. Thank you.
