My husband was admitted to outpatient surgery for the first time at the age of 65. Past family history made a relatively normal procedure seem very frightening to him. Lacee made him feel much better about his procedure through her professional expertise and caring demeanor. She was quick to find ways to relate to him and reassure him through thorough explanations of what to expect.

As a retired APRN/ nurse educator, I was very impressed with her professionalism and expertise. I would have been very proud to have had her as a student. She didn’t do anything outstanding or dramatic but her steady reassuring presence made us both feel so much more comfortable with a new and challenging situation. Lacee exemplifies all of the qualities of an extraordinary nurse!

My daughter had a surgical procedure today. She was very anxious about getting her IV put in. My daughter's nurse had Lacee come in to try the IV. Lacee was cheerful and confident. She told my daughter a relatable story about her own experiences, and that made my daughter feel better about having the IV procedure done. Lacee engaged in conversation to keep my daughter talking and also to keep her calm. As a parent, I have a great appreciation for this and wish all of our experiences could be comparable.

Thank you, Lacee, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
