Lacey's compassion for her patients is unsurpassed. She is a calming presence when caring for pediatric dental patients and elderly patients requiring emergency surgery. Her nursing skills are top of the line. She is frequently called upon to start IV's in difficult to stick patients.
These skills were highlighted when she was able to start an IV on a patient who no one else could successfully start even with the use of ultrasound. She maintains a positive attitude no matter what the situation on the unit. She is the "go to" person for computer issues and administrative questions. She is a strong patient advocate; ensuring patient safety is never compromised. I have worked with many nurses over more than 35 years in health care, and I would rank Lacey among the top nurses I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
