Lacey Kindred, LPN

Lacey was caring for a female patient admitted with Covid. A few days later the patient's husband was hospitalized and placed in the room next to her. The couple spent several days in rooms next to each other but separated. One of the therapists at the hospital worked with the wife and husband. Each day they would ask about each other and would pass along positive messages to one another. Today the husband was well enough to discharge home. Lacey Kindred made sure the husband and wife were allowed time to see each other prior to him leaving the hospital. It was a special event in reuniting them and allowing them to see each other face to face. They have been married 57 years. This is an example of Lacey providing exemplary care and going above and beyond to do something meaningful for her patients.
