December 2025 Honoree
Lacey R Brown, RN
Ms. Brown has been a nurse for 13 years and has worked in a variety of specialty areas, including geriatric psych, med/surg, OB/L&D, PACU, and corrections. She has provided excellent care at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility for approximately four years.
Ms. Brown has been nominated for the DAISY Award three of the last four quarters. The multiple nominations note that Ms. Brown is "respectful, dependable, knowledgeable, and caring to all of her patients".
Each patient voices that Ms. Brown takes the time to listen and then "moves with a purpose" to act on the information. One patient states that she is always able to assist him when his blood sugar drops, while another patient reports her assistance with his seizure disorder.
We are thankful to have Ms. Brown on our Centurion of Indiana Team!
