The level of care Lacey has provided me during my hospitalization was truly the best I have ever received while dealing with my illness. She had the patience of a saint explaining my various procedures/tests all with the most amazing attitude. Lacey provided a very comforting atmosphere during a nerve-wracking and stressful situation to not only me but my family as well. She was a true advocate for me and thoroughly explained my plan of care and listened, then asked if there was any I wanted to achieve while I was here. I’ve never had such an amazing nurse. She truly deserves to be recognized for the AWESOME nurse she is. Thank you so much, Lacey! Lacey created a safe haven with conversation and fun stories and genuine curiosity. Lacey went above and beyond as my nurse. My whole life turned upside down due to a bad surgery. Lacey treated me with dignity and compassion. My story is so insane to tell but Lacey was ready to listen and there wasn’t a hint of jealousy in the air. When you are that sick the right person inspires you to get better. For days I was very depressed until I had Lacey for my nursing staff. The depression was so bad I didn’t even turn the TV on. By her making me feel comfortable I started taking more walks and doing more exercises. Without her, I would have been still feeling sorry for myself and very alone. Specifically, she mentioned that it takes a stranger to offer reassurance before a person will accept it. Lacey, you have no idea how you helped me.
