Lacey immediately understood and appreciated my husband's intelligence and his need for involvement in terms of his care. She is brilliant in working with him to figure out what works best for him, even though this can change at any time. Lacey makes it clear nothing is too much trouble and has a comforting way about her. She is able to bring good cheer and good-hearted humor even in the midst of recognizing the somberness of our situation (husband is 41 years with terminal cancer).
When Lacey discovered we intended to celebrate Christmas (in July), she went to great lengths to make it special for us, even bringing in Christmas cookies for everyone! Adding to our decorations with a beautiful ornament and even making paper snowflakes for us. Lacey is a great comfort to us at a difficult time. She is an extremely kindhearted, empathetic person who is truly suited to her vocation. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
