My mother loves having her hair brushed, so I know Lacie was comforting and soothing her because my mother was scared.
Lacie went above and beyond taking care of my mother earlier this week. My mother was admitted into the hospital at approximately midnight. Tonight, when I asked my mom whom her favorite nurse was taking care of her, she said Lacie. Lacie brought me down my mother’s dirty laundry in a red bag. She talked to me every time I called and gave me specifics on what my mother needed when I could not be by her side due to COVID restrictions with no family or visitor access. She went as far as brushing my mother’s hair to unravel tangles and knots. My mother loves having her hair brushed, so I know Lacie was comforting and soothing her because my mother was scared. I appreciate her and the many nurses out there taking such good care of our patients this way. She is a good example, and she went the extra mile here in our community at Portneuf Medical.
