My Mom was admitted after a heart attack and Lacie Gooch was her nurse the following day. We were terrified and Lacie called us often during the day to keep us updated on her condition. This gave us new hope that my Mom would be okay. She gave compassionate care to my Mom, and my Dad when he visited, like she was part of our family. We at one point had little hope and Lacie worked with my Mom to wiggle toes and squeeze her hand and all the while keeping us updated. Within hours Mom was extubated and talking to my Dad. Lacie loved on my family like they were her own and we are forever grateful. She is a servant for people and God.
