Because of his effort and urgency, I was able to go home, which made a meaningful difference in how I was able to cope with my situation.
I was a patient in Laddy’s unit over the past few days while undergoing a significant and life-altering procedure, including an arm amputation and surgical repair of my shoulder due to a severe brachial plexus injury. What could have been an overwhelmingly difficult experience was made far more manageable because of the exceptional care I received from Laddy.

Although I was initially expected to stay overnight, complications from a nerve block caused temporary difficulty with breathing and swallowing. As I began to feel better later in the day, I expressed a strong desire to return home. Despite it being close to the end of the day and with very limited time, Laddy went above and beyond by quickly coordinating everything necessary to make that possible. Because of his effort and urgency, I was able to go home, which made a meaningful difference in how I was able to cope with my situation.

Throughout my stay, Laddy demonstrated not only clinical skill but also remarkable compassion and professionalism. He was attentive, patient, and supportive, even while teaching a new nurse. His ability to care for me, guide staff, support my family, and manage his other responsibilities at the same time was truly impressive.

Having spent a significant amount of time in hospitals over the past two years, I can confidently say that Laddy stands out as one of the most memorable and impactful medical professionals I have had the privilege of being cared for by. I am deeply grateful for his dedication and kindness.
