LaDonna was taking care of a patient with a wound vac that was scared and uncertain about having it removed at the planned time. LaDonna was a patient advocate.
The patient writes, "I so appreciate how you handled that situation and helped me. You listened, you cared, and you supported me. You had my back all the way. Thank you!"
The patient writes that the staff on 10 East never hurried her, kept her comfortable, and always responded quickly to her needs. "They treated me with dignity, compassion, and were friendly. They answered my many questions, making sure I understood the answer. I can't find the words to fully express my appreciation of their care!"
