Laine Kroubetz, LPN

There are so many instances to choose from, so I will just start with a recent time where Laine all but talked me off the ledge. I had made a rookie mistake of reading test results on the portal without full knowledge of what it meant. The diagnosis pointed to a serious condition, and I was petrified. I kept reading and within ten minutes I was convinced I was going to die within a few years. Laine saw me the next day and I not so subtly blustered out "Laine, I am going to die!" She took a deep breath and listened to me catastrophize my results. When I was done, she called the doctor in to explain these things to me. She calmed me down and did so with expertise and kind empathy. I was more grateful than I have ever been to A.) Not be on my deathbed and B.) To have a trusted medical confidant that truly cares and is always open to answer questions. One more time was recently. I got COVID and her response to my questions about treatment came back so fast, again I felt cared for and seen. She always sends over my prescriptions with quickness, and I just wouldn't be as healthy or happy without her. She deserves all the accolades.
