Laken Nickell helps everyone from patients to staff! If help is needed on med-surg with patients or if some nurses are falling behind, she will do whatever needs to be done, even if that means falling behind herself. Specifically, there was a day a cute little patient's heart rate on med-surg jumped up to the 160s, she went in to assess the patient. Laken helped stabilize the patient, staying involved in the patient's care until the transfer to ICU was complete, while also caring for her own patients on PCU.
She will always do 100% and put everyone before herself. This hospital is lucky Laken is part of our team!
