I was scheduled to have surgery; Ms. Lana Cole was my nurse that day. Ms. Cole attended to my needs in every possible way. She was patient and did not rush, this made me feel like a human instead of just a number. I want to thank her for doing my EKG in the room instead of sending me out to another testing room; this saved time and also allowed me to be ready to leave right after surgery. I was unable to have surgery that day, but I was ready to go home thanks to Ms. Cole.
After being released, Ms. Cole transported me to my vehicle; when she was rolling me through the hospital, I shared about my service experience, and I was also delighted to hear that she too has served. Her commitment and respect for her fellow Veterans are unwavering. Thank you, Ms. Cole, for putting, God, our country, and Veterans first.
