Lana was recognized because she is extremely in tune to subtle changes in the patients' conditions. One example of her excellent clinical skills was when a patient who had a serious hypoglycemic episode, Lana took it upon herself to reassess the patient at frequent intervals until the condition improved. She sat with the patient and assisted with the lunch tray. This is just one small instance of her work and her commitment to the ICARE Values. Lana works with the staff to ensure that there are necessary resources to provide the best care possible and always offers to help. She is recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
