Lana went above and beyond with checking up on me all the time. She was also easy to talk to and made my hospital stay enjoyable which you wouldn’t think a stay would be a positive thing. I would look forward to her next shift and when the next day would roll around so I got to see her. I'm actually in Nursing School and I can't wait to be a nurse so I can be just like her. She stood out to me and I appreciate everything she's done for me.

Lana was always affirming and positive which helped me feel welcomed. She treated me like family. When I checked into the emergency room in March, I was admitted for multiple issues that ended up having two surgeries during my stay. From the moment I checked in, every staff member from the cleaning crew to food services to the medical team was outstanding, kind, and concerned. But Lana went above and beyond during my 14-day stay. Her knowledge, care, energy, and compassion are unmatched. No matter what was going on she had a smile on her face that you knew was there even behind the mask. I was there for 14-days and she anticipated my needs even before I knew what I needed or wanted to try to fix whatever issue cropped up. Her calm, always happy presence and encouragement got me through what was one of the roughest times in my 52 years.

There was never a question that went unanswered and I had many during my stay. Her energy, kindness, and joy were the same at the start of her shift and it was at the end of her shift. Her manner made her seem like I was her only patient at times which made it very personal. There is not enough I can say about her support during my stay. The whole staff and Riverview should be rewarded for their effort and consistent levels of patient care.

Lana took care of me for six days. She is an excellent, compassionate, and very professional nurse. The first time I was hospitalized, my anxiety was high even with my wife beside me. I could not ask for anything more because she is thorough and knows what she is doing. She explained everything completely especially with the bowel prep, blood transfusion, and all the care that I needed like doctor's orders and diet restriction. She constantly visits and checking on me. She always asks if everything is ok. I appreciate and thank her a lot for taking good care of me
