Many times I have called for assistance with a care management issue during the night shift. Lance has always been professional, quick, and has usually been able to resolve the problem in order to expedite patient care.
Just a few examples of Lance's extraordinary help include: assisting with the transfer of patients to another facility, obtaining pre-approval for after hours testing, and coordinating for families to meet with physicians. Lance is a good resource and I appreciate his assistance in patient care. There are many times Lance has assisted our floor with hurried situations while still functioning to assist patients as the Care Manager in a busy ER.
