Kind, compassionate, caring, happy, encouraging, Lance listened, he cared, and only left me for ice chips.
I was brought in by ambulance with a dislocated hip and given pain meds. I was put in a room and immediately met my nurse, Lance. Little did I know that I was already blessed. Kind, compassionate, caring, happy, encouraging, he listened, he cared, and only left me for ice chips. Lance was my only friend, my guardian angel. I woke up and 6 people were trying to put my hip back in place. The only face I saw was Lance and the hand I held was Lance's. After they temporarily got my hip back in the socket, they were transferring me to Dallas by ambulance for surgery since that is where I live. Thankful and blessed that Lance was working that night, it was a gift from God. Thanks for making me feel like the only patient, helping me not to be so afraid and not feel like I was alone.
