My dad has stage 4 lung cancer, and Lance gave him so much to live for in his care. He cared for my father in September of 2025. Lance has an exceptional heart and personality. This isn’t a job for him, it’s life. He’s so outspoken and compassionate and attentive, he pays attention to everything, he explains everything he’s doing, and answers any needed questions. I can tell he loves his work, and he loves his patients.

My dad has always had a phobia and fear of hospitals and doctors, but Lance comforted him and told him it was going to be okay, coaxed him if needed, and he treated my dad like a human, like it was his own father, and I appreciate that so much. He inspires me to have that same care and compassion when I pursue my Nursing path. Lance truly feels like family, and we are honored and blessed and grateful to have had him for my dad’s care. I think if any nurse in this building deserves praise and acknowledgment, it’s Lance.
