Landon was our dad's nurse when he was put on comfort care after becoming very sick at the age of 87. Our hearts knew dad was not going to beat it this time although we prayed he would, and to have to explain to him and go through the last hours of his life, Landon was the one who helped us get through. He was extremely patient, caring, and thoughtful. He listened to us and helped us in those final hours. Without his guidance, we probably would not have been able to make it. We weren't sure what to expect those last few hours. We were not sure if we should go home. We knew in our hearts not to go home and Landon visited with us and we knew right then we needed to stay right there with dad.
Landon, thank you for taking care of our dad, although the timing was short; you sir were the best and you definitely deserve a kudos for the warm compassion you gave our dad, my sister, and me! Thank you very much!
