Patient arrived on floor, 41 years old, having impending doom, not feeling well, and not looking well. Immediately upon arrival, Lane calls the hospitalist on call to come see the patient at 11:30 pm. Patient goes for emergency cath with 4 stents that night. The doctor had to call in the cath lab team. Patient was discharged but took the time to call Lane Sunday night to thank her for saving his life.
