I came into ER on a Saturday via ambulance with an extremely high fever, severe pain, etc. They moved me to a room. The next night they moved me to Lara’s unit. She is brilliant, feisty, professional, personable, and caring. Everything you need to be made of to even consider being a nurse. Each day when she comes on shift, she listens to me. Now she might think I am insane, she may think I am crazy, but she would never say it. She listens to me and addresses the concerns she has the ability to address and the rest, she passes on to the correct party. I did not have a daughter but had I, I would want her to be just like Lara. I can’t wait to get discharged but I will always be thankful and grateful for that smart little package of dynamite, Lara! Thank you, Lara, for going above and beyond your job. You are a great person and a wonderful nurse.
