Lara took great care of my husband. During the night when my husband experienced very low heart rates off and on. He also was not having sufficient urine output. She listened to our concerns and answered our questions and served as an efficient caretaker and communicator. She was an advocate for him and demonstrated a professional, respectful nurse practice with compassion and patience. She handled the questions from our family with respect and concern while working tirelessly to cover the care of him and her other patients. We felt we could count on her to respond to his needs. She included us in his care planning. She was never slow to respond. She was not reluctant to take time to hear us and responded with clear communication. She left no questions without a response. We wanted to recognize her ethical approach at a very concerning time for our family. Thank you for your kindness and dedication to being our advocate.
