Laresha Baker, our health care manager is one of the most valuable assets in our Wellmed Clinic at Mesquite. It has been a pleasure to work with her every day. Her demeanor always exudes compassion for our patients. Not only is she awesome at her work, but she has also been instrumental in bringing our clinic to the 5 start Quality status that it proudly maintains today. I see Laresha work tirelessly with no complaints when she has overwhelming responsibilities.

She is always approachable and kind. Even when she has no time, she always made it a point to be humble and treat others with respect. She goes above and beyond for our patients, especially for the less fortunate patients with limited resources. I have seen her work beyond her scheduled hours - after hours or on weekends when needed.

She is invaluable as a team player and helps create a supportive and positive workplace. Her knowledge and skills are evident and she is never shy to offer help and support to others. When I run out of options to help my patients - she is my go-to person and she will always do her best to meet the needs of our patients. I have seen her work relentlessly till she finds a way to help meet the needs of our patients - whether it's getting respite care, medication assistance, or meeting their home health or DME needs - or at the very least, she offers alternate solutions to help them. There has never been a time when Laresha was not able to help me in one way or the other with my patient concerns. Many of our sickest patients have her direct number - she is accessible and approachable for help anytime! Both patients and staff at Mesquite Wellmed are fortunate to have Laresha on our crew.
