I have been an RN for over 35 years with little to no experience in med/surg or kidney issues (my admission was for a kidney issue). Being on the other side of the bed is definitely humbling and you feel very vulnerable. You are literally putting your life in a stranger's hands. I never felt uncared for or belittled, "I’m a nurse and should know." I have nothing but the highest kudos for all your staff. Larin was so kind and compassionate. I was nervous, and her calm manner really helped! Very conscientious as well and explained everything to lessen my anxiety. GEM!

I wanted my surgery at BMC instead of the Plastic Surgery Center. Larin in preop was especially helpful. Her cheerful disposition and care for my privacy made me very comfortable prior to my surgery. I felt confident in the care of the team going into surgery with the help of her kind and caring attitude. I had such a good experience after my first surgery, I asked to be brought back to your hospital for my second and final reconstructive surgery even though it's an hour from my house.
