November 2025 Honoree
Larmara Perry-Mark, MSN, RN, CCRN
In less than a year as a nurse leader on 4G, Larmara Perry-Mark has completely transformed our unit. She leads with heart, humility, and an unwavering commitment to her team. Every day, she embodies what it means to be a DAISY Nurse Leader-creating an environment built on trust, compassion, and inspiration.
Each morning during huddle, Larmara takes time to lift us up with her words-reminding us of our strength, our purpose, and the difference we make as bedside nurses. No matter how busy she is, she's always approachable and willing to listen. Whether you're a new nurse finding your footing or a seasoned nurse seeking support, she meets you exactly where you are with understanding, honesty, and encouragement. Larmara constantly looks for ways to help others grow, not only as nurses but as people. She pushes all of us, new and experienced alike, to be excellent and hold ourselves to the highest standards. She has led quality rounds that have strengthened teamwork and accountability, and she leads by example in every sense.
Her dedication knows no bounds. She is here early in the AM to support Wound Wednesdays, takes time to personally teach best practices, and creates resources to help staff advance in their clinical careers. She's constantly improving the environment-whether that means updating clinical practice guidelines, deep cleaning work areas, or even fixing small details like chipped paint in patient rooms. Nothing is beneath her, and everything she does is aimed at creating a better space for both patients and staff. Larmara's work ethic is unmatched; she works tirelessly to ensure her team has what they need to succeed. Her passion, thoughtfulness, and relentless drive to uplift others make her the true embodiment of a DAISY Nurse Leader.
Simply put, when Larmara is around, things get done-and people become better.
