I was extremely fraught and anxious about having surgery. I overheard someone speaking to others out at the desk and identified him as having a “chaplain-like” presence. When he later entered my room to assist with repositioning, I asked him if he could stay. He was very obliging. Larry genuinely listened; he was so warmhearted it immediately put me at ease. He made me feel like his only concern was my well-being. The best part is that he kept showing up.
