I had the privilege of watching Lasheinna assist with a critically ill patient at the beginning of her shift. She helped start a crucial IV, stayed with our team and assisted with this patient until a new bed could be assigned. Lasheinna then quickly called a report and helped us to transfer the patient to an ICU bed, since we did not have time to wait for transport. Lasheinna even thought ahead to bring the chart with her when she came down so there was no delay in the transfer. Lasheinna provided excellent nursing care and stepped up in the face of an emergency. She is truly a huge asset to the Beaumont team.
