Latakia was exceptional in providing the care I needed while I was hospitalized. Although she was not my nurse every day, she did have me as her patient for I believe 3 days. She displayed professionalism at all times while displaying empathy and showing compassion under her care. I never had to wait long when I requested a nurse; she came as quickly as she could and tended to my needs.

She never rushed out nor was she curt. Her positive words always made me smile. In addition, she ensured I was able to visit with my grandkids and great-grandbaby for a few minutes before the great-grandbaby had to leave to go back to MD. I asked two other nurses whether my request would be approved by the head nurse, since there was no visiting room for them to meet with me.

Latakia mentioned the solarium sunroom and got the head nurse’s approval. This was the best gift I got that day since I was missing the kids a lot and they were missing me as well, especially my 3-year-old grandbaby. I will never forget her kind gesture and her dedication to ensuring my family and I had the chance to be together for a visit! I will never forget her!
