This nurse is credited with going the extra mile for a patient. The patient who nominated her stated, “She knew I hadn’t eaten in 6 days. They brought me beef, which I told her I couldn’t eat. She said, "don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.” This nurse went down to get the meal because she did not want the patient to wait any longer than necessary. The patient also mentioned how this nurse always made sure she had her medications on time, took time to listen to her stressful life and family situations, and made her feel like she was wanted.
