I was brought in with such nasty health issues that nobody would want to deal with. I was vomiting and had terrible diarrhea that had been ongoing for more than 2 weeks. I was weak, scared and confused. Once it was decided that I would be admitted, I was given a room. I was miserable, sick, confused and scared. My nurse assigned to me was LaTonya. I absolutely feel that LaTonya was specially picked by God to be my nurse. She is the most attentive, caring, gentle, knowledgeable, professional nurse I have ever had the benefit of being one of her many patients. I will never forget her kindness! I was surprised that in the midst of pain, confusion, stress and fear this sweet lady always managed to make me laugh. Now in my opinion, this makes her like a magician or sent from God. She also has the patience of Job. She laughed with me every day. That is also some good medicine that doesn’t have a price tag or leave a bad taste in your mouth. I will never, ever forget what LaTonya gave to me during my hospital stay. It was something special that every patient should have access to.
