Latyra Williams, LPN

Latyra showed excellent compassion during my grandfather's visit. From the moment we arrived, she made my family and me feel comfortable, supported, and welcomed. She encouraged us to take our time, never making us feel rushed or like a burden. As someone who also works in the hospital, I understand how stressful and overwhelming a situation like ours can be for staff. Despite that, she treated us with patience, kindness, and genuine understanding. Even with my grandfather's condition being so severe, she cared for him with incredible gentleness and dignity. She anticipated our needs, accommodated every request, and reassured us through one of the hardest moments of our lives. Her presence brought comfort and peace to my entire family. She truly went above and beyond, and we are deeply grateful for the compassion she showed. She is exactly the kind of nurse who deserves to be recognized with the DAISY Award.
