Yesterday Laura had just picked up her daughter from her elementary school. Laura was the first person on the scene after a rollover accident of a pregnant teacher; she assessed for injuries and stayed with the teacher until EMS arrived and she ensured the teacher was safely transitioned and helped her into the ambulance. She provided reassurance, physical assistance, and comfort. Laura received a message from her own daughter’s teacher: “Just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU so much for stopping to help today! She said you were able to calm her down and truly helped her out more than she can ever repay. She’s still being evaluated in the ER now but wanted to make sure she said thank you from the bottom of her heart! God definitely had you in the right place at the right time. I hate when that fire alarm goes off shortly after 3:00. So glad you were there to help!”
