I arrived to the ER with my husband for a severe headache. Within a matter of an hour, we were told my husband had a Subdural Hematoma. From there, he was admitted. Over the course of the next month, we had 4 ER visits and 4 admissions to the hospital ICU. Laura was our nurse for 3 of those ER visits, & each time, her kindness & compassion made this entire experience better. I am not great with words, but I can tell you Laura's passion for what she does goes above and beyond. Not only did she care for my husband, but she was so caring and understanding to me. My husband has an artificial heart valve, & there was an issue of whether he could have an MRI due to his valve. Right away, she started getting all the information she could get to help. I will be forever grateful that we have nurses like Laura who are so knowledgeable & show such compassion for patients going through a terrifying health scare.
